Lactobacillus buchneri is a heterofermentative bacteria that is great for souring beers. This culture typically produces more lactic acid and acetic acid. Try using as a sour in the kettle or mash or use it more traditionally in secondary fermentation. Culture produces little to no attenuation and has an IBU tolerance under 15 IBUS. We do not keep this strain regularly in stock. We will order this fresh from White Labs once the order is placed. Please allow 2 weeks for delivery.
