Weed, Feed and Mow Cream Ale by Palmer Brewing Solutions
The award-winning recipe from Brewing Classic Styles by Jamil Zainasheff and John Palmer, prepared and assembled in a ready to brew ingredient kit!
This easy-drinking style is a perfect thirst quencher for a hot afternoon, or anytime. American Cream Ale is similar to American light lager but is brewed with ale yeast instead of lager yeast, giving it a softer flavor, hence the “cream” moniker. This is one of my favorite beers after finishing an afternoon of yard work.
American Cream Ale is descended from Classic American Pilsner, but with ale yeast instead of lager, and less bitterness for smoother drinkability. It is a great beer for relaxing with after a long day.
