Are you looking for an Electric Brewing System without a frame? One that comes almost completely assembled and ready to brew shipped right to your door? Then I urge you to really look at the Ruby Street Systems and compare them to any other system on the market. Here are just a few things to consider when comparing Ruby Street Electric Systems to other Electric Systems on the market:
Ruby Street Systems are hand built per order, with more available options and configurations than any other manufacturer. Ruby Street comes almost completely assembled and ready to brew, other systems have extensive assembly involved. Most Ruby Street systems include dial thermometers on various kettles, while some other systems do not. Ruby Street come standard with 2 false bottoms, others systems only come with 1 false bottom. Ruby Street utilizes a standard all stainless element coupled to a machined heavy duty stainless waterproof wiring housing that mounts to the kettle via TIG welded tri-clamp fitting, other systems don't offer this at all.
Ruby Street has industry standard tri-clamp sanitary fittings throughout while other systems don't. The Ruby Street electric panel has 3 digital PID controllers with temp readout of all 3 tanks, a process timer with alarm, pump switches on the panel, key switch for lockout safety, and a red mushroom emergency stop button that kills all power (pumps and elements). Other systems sometime feature two separate panels (requiring 2 outlets), only 2 PID controllers, no pump switches on the panels, no timer, no key switch, and no e-stop button.
Electric brewing is silent, economical, and safe for indoor use. The mega electric system includes a full
featured control panel that precisely controls heat to your HLT and Boil kettles, and
allows you to monitor the temps of all 3 kettles right on the panel. The panel also
includes a digital brewing timer/alarm and pump control switches. On the brewery side
you will find all stainless steel elements mounted to the kettles with tri-clover fittings to
allow super easy removal for cleaning.

There are many ways to make this system your own by choosing all or only the options you want, please take a look at these options and select the one's that fit your style of brewing.
Now included, the HERMS System:
HERMS - (Heat Exchange Recirculating Mash System)
The HERMS System is used to maintain mash temperatures and perform step mashes without direct fired heat. The HERMS coil offers a 1/2"" x 50' stainless coil in the hot liquor tank that allows the brewer to recirculate the mash runoff through the coiled heat ex-changer and back into the mash tun. The coil is factory installed only and pressure tested before it ships.
The HERMS system will include:
50’ ½” SS HERMS coil mounted in the HLT with through wall fittings (tri-clover on top, ball valve and tri-clover at the bottom)
Optional 50 Amp Control Panel Upgrade
The Ruby Street electric system now offers this great option with the ability to simultaneously heat the HLT and Boil kettles at 50% power.
Each of these kettles has (2) elements in the kettle. This new upgraded panels now allows you to run 2 elements in either, or 1 element in both (100% HLT, 100% Boil, or 50/50) with a convenient selector switch.
The biggest benefit of this is time savings, as this allows you to begin preheating your boil runoff while still maintaining your HLT temp. This will allow you to boil almost immediately upon hitting your target runoff volume. The biggest benefit of this is time savings, as this allows you to begin preheating your boil runoff while still

Please see the options.
Optional Thru-Wall Return Fitting
Many brewers prefer to re-circulate and/or sparge with the kettle lids on. The thru-wall return fitting option makes this process easy. This fitting is generally mounted at the top of the kettle just below the rim.
Already included is the thru-wall fitting mounted in the Mash Tun and HLT and will include a cork float silicone sparging hose to eliminate splashing.
Thru-wall fitting mounted in Boil kettle will include a silicone tube that reaches the bottom of the kettle to prevent splashing. This is optional please see options.
Optional Whirlpool Arm
If you would like a whirlpool arm assembly added to your boil kettle please see the options.
3 piece ball valve w/tri-clamp connection.
Boil Kettle Thermometer Option
If you would like a thermometer installed on your boil kettle, please see the option.
Optional Inline Oxygen Package
A fast and easy way to oxygenate your cooled wort. Equipped with stainless triclover fittings, this inline oxygen stone can be placed on the outflow side of your pump or chiller. Includes a regulator that attaches to a standard welding oxygen tank and 6’ of vinyl tubing.
Sight Gauge Option
Now you can get a sight gauge installed on your Boil Kettle or HLT. Please see the options.
Optional Plate Chiller:
Plate Chiller Includes:
· Duda Brand 30 Plate all Stainless Chiller mod# B3-36A
· Mounting hardware
· Tri Clover wort connections with 3” dial outflow thermometer
· Male and female garden hose fittings on water side of chiller
Optional 50 Foot Immersion Chiller
50 ft. Immersion Chiller is coiled with 3/8"" copper tubing and fitted with quality brass garden hose connectors.
If you would like to add a 50' Immersion Chiller. Please see the options.
Optional Stainless Steel Hop Filter
The hop filter makes cleaning your brewery a breeze. The large capacity 6"" x 14"" 300 micron screen is made of 100% stainless steel. These screens will contain the majority off all hop material from both whole hops and pellet hops. We highly recommend this option when using plate chillers to avoid trapped hop material in your chiller. You can also recirculate through the hop filter while chilling to capture cold break protein material.
Optional Extra Pump with Overflow Valve
While this system only requires one pump to be fully operational, some of our customers have asked for and additional pump for other uses in their brewing process.
These are separate options, if you want an additional pump, please see the options.
The HLT and Mash kettle are already Included, If you would like a thermometer installed in the Boil kettle, please see the options.
If you are not getting the best flame possible out of your propane burner, you may have triggered a safety valve in the propane regulator body. This occurs when the gas flow through the regulator is too great. You will need to disconnect the regulator from your propane tank to release the safety valve. While connecting your regulator to your propane tank, it is very important that the propane tank and all needle valves are completely closed. Once the regulator is correctly connected to your closed tank, open the propane tank slowly to allow gas to flow into the regulator. You can now open the needle valve enough to ignite your burner. Once the burner is lit you can slowly open the needle valve until you reach the desired flame intensity.
