Smithwicks Ale (9D) - MINI MASH

I ordered this kit, and when I saw this hop bill, Cut them in HALF! It won 1 'st place at a local taste and vote, and would have been spot on with the full hop bill. I will order this again and again.

I Brewed this Kit and it was excellent. Snithwicks drinkers thought it was better than the original.

Tried my first after two weeks in the bottle. It came out great. Look and taste is outstanding. Very smooth.

I have made this twice now. Both times it turned out excellent. Very good kit. I would highly recommend it.

I agree with a previous poster, the hops should be cut by about half. Granted its only been in the keg for a couple weeks, hopefully the bitterness will mellow out with a little aging.

I brewed this Dec 31st to be ready by St. Paddy's. I bottled after three weeks in primary. I followed the liquid extract recipe to a "T" and it has turned out fantastic. I am having a really hard time keeping my hands off of them. I have had to hide the last seven bombers from myself to make them last another two weeks until St. Paddy's.

I used the Mini Mash kit and was impressed. I love Smithwick's and it was very close to the real thing. I will definitely make again only this time as the All Grain.

I spent over 2 weeks in Ireland, and Smithwick's was my drink of choice every night. This clone tatses as close to the original as you can get! It was amazing. I actually didn't add the hops until the last 15 min of the boil, but it turned out great. Buy it!

Brewed this in August and has been in the bottle for a few weeks now. Very malty/sweet start very smooth finish. Has the Amber/light brown color good head at the poor. Very very smooth taste I am not afraid to pass this one out but one of the cases is claimed by a partner who paid for half of the kit. came out to 5.5 ABV I didn't use any alcohol boost.... AHS keep the great kits coming!!!!!!!

Brewed the extract version; opened a bottle only after 2 weeks in the bottles. Wow! this is a great beer! 5th kit, but I believe this will be my favorite. This was to be a beer I'd let sit and take with me on a visit to my family in October. It won't last till then. Anoter great AHS clone. 2 for 2!
