Definitely a great brew, three weeks primary and 5 weeks bottle conditioned, no need for an alcohol boost. Definitely my favorite from ahs i would recommend anyone try this especially if they havent tried a weizen. Go liquid yeast and give a little time no dissatisfaction on this end

As mentioned in my previous review when this was the 1st home brew I ever tried (and it came out perfect), I did order and make it again. The second time I added fresh lemongrass and Kafir lime leaves for a Thai twist. Came out wonderful again. See, I have tasted this fresh out of a tank in Germany and when Paulaner finally makes it to our shores in the US, it's no longer fresh and alive like where it was born. With this recipe it can be born here in the states and this kit has my highest regards. It's a very accurate clone which is stable, easy to brew and provides a strong palate for additives as I did with the lemongrass. Everyone that drank it loved it, went well with Thai food and it got drank in a hurry.

This was my first brew and my best brew. Keg was dry after one night during a Texas vs. Oklahoma party. Very smooth. I did a blind taste test of the actual Paulaner hefe and this beer; my homebrew won hands down test after test! This is great for beginners, but also one that I will definitely brew again. Cheers!

You guys know your business. All the work is done. I purchased a Paulaner Hefe kit and was a little skeptical about the results. WOW! This stuff is great, looks, smells, tastes like the original. Easy to brew, Cheap the buy, a no-brainer. Thanks Again

I did the all grain version and used yeast nutrient and dry yeast. Holy moly the fermentation was fast and vigorous! Use a blowoff hose because when I checked it 24 hours into the primary, my fermentation chamber looked like an episode of CSI. This was a quick one too. It was 8 days from boil to keg. I great party beer too.

I made the extract version. Excellent! No problems with carbonation like the others mentioned. If you're thinking about this one just do it. Your friends will thank you!

Perfect clone, easy to make and a quick fermentation. I feel that there was not enough priming sugar, next time I will use Muntons. I will order this clone again. Happy New Year.

Great taste! Perfect clone. I did not get enough carbonation with the priming sugar. Next batch I am going to use Coopers or Munton's carbonation drops to get exact carbonation with each bottle.

I made the mini-mash, but used the Wyeast 3638 Bavarian Wheat instead of the recommended one. It turned out great. No carbonation issues, nice creamy head, and great flavor! Will brew again!

My son just returned from a trip to Germany about a month ago. He indicated he tried this beer so I ordered it as I wanted to cook a few from Munich they had tried. I was blown away. This beer looked great and tasted very similar to the commercial one. Carbonated great in the keg. Gona give the bottles another week. I have already ordered it again! Give it a try.
