Description

Mark's Keg and Carboy Washer consists of a 1 gallon basin with a stand mounted in the center that can hold either a carboy or a Cornelius Keg. Positioned below the center of the stand is jet nozzle powered by a submersible 500 gallon per hour pump. The basin is also designed to accommodate brew pails and buckets. The basin is molded as one piece of high density polyethylene for strength and durability. The material of the basin is highly chemically resistant and essentially stain-proof.

Mark's Keg and Carboy Washer includes 2 tube barbs used for cleaning hoses. There is also a T adapter supplied that fits between the output of the pump and the pipe for the jet nozzle. The T adapter can be used for connecting a hose to a quick-connect that can be attached to the output of a Cornelius Keg. This way, the tube inside the keg can be cleaned without disassembling it.

Keg and carboy washer

Boy this washer is great. You can wash and sanitize your carboys with ease. No more putting solution in and having to shake, roll or whatever. Wish I had bought this a long time ago. Delivery was fast also. If you don't have one of these, you need to order one.

Works well but pricey

Not sure how a little bit of molded plastic and a low end pump costs $100 but I use this for cleaning all the time. Highly recommend purchasing a SS CIP Spray Ball to add to top of post, this greatly increases cleaning efficiency (I went with Dernord 1/2" NPT Female Rotary Ball). Before this, cleaning my kegs and carboys was a PITA, but now it's super easy. I just put some PBW and water in the basin and pop on what I want to clean. Have only had this for 2 months, I am curious as to how long the pump will last. Overall, would recommend, but I'd like to see it more reasonably priced.
