Hoppiness is an IPA by Palmer Brewing by Palmer Brewing Solutions
The award-winning recipe from Brewing Classic Styles by Jamil Zainasheff and John Palmer, prepared and assembled in a ready to brew ingredient kit!
Baseball, hot dogs, apple pie and IPA! American IPA is craft beer’s most popular style, and for good reason. This style is all about showcasing the bright citrus and herbal flavors of American hops. There are East coast and West coast styles, by turn being maltier or hoppier. However, in both cases, the clean malt and yeast character let the hops take the front of the stage. American IPA is brasher and bolder than British IPA, kind of like comparing Rambo to James Bond. This recipe is not as malty or bitter or excessively aromatic as some, but is classic example of American IPA nonetheless, and consistently does well in competition.
