This is fantastic. I have a 4 tapper system. You will have two of them. Your Killians clone and this Guinness clone. I just ordered your Blue Moon clone.

I bought the extract version - made it exactly 2 weeks before St. Pats day - it was ready (force carbonating, oxygen injection, and starter) for the big day. I agree its very close. I think to do again, I'd again use the Irish Ale yeast, but control the ferment at a lower temp - which according to Wyeast site produces a drier beer. Also hard to know just how close it would be without the nitro mix and stout faucet. I'm going to try again for sure.

I brewed this beer about two months ago using the all grain recipe. I primary fermented for 2 weeks at @ approx 70 degrees and secondary fermented for 4 weeks @ 60 degrees F. I kegged and allowed the keg to carbonate for 1.5 weeks . Served using a stout faucet and and KB gas mixture 75% N2 25%CO2. Let let tell you the keg was gone in two weeks. All of my friends and neighbors loved it. The beer came out a bit thinner than Guinness, but many of my friend prefered it. I'm told I have to make it again. Buy it and you won't be disappointed.

This was the first time I tried this brew-kit, and very slightly changed the recipe. Everything was followed to the letter except I added an extra 8 ounces of Dark DME along with the 5 lbs, Amber LME. During the brew and boil, everything looked and smelled absolutely AWESOME! That roasted grain aroma was amazing. Fermented for 5 days, or pretty much when the airlock was down to @ 1 bubble every 30-40 seconds. OG 1.051, FG 1.013. Alc-just under 5%. This was my first keg on a Nitrogen tap system and I let it keg condition for right at 2 months. Well, the friends and I have done the side-by-side with the canned Guinness and every last one of us prefer my keg to the original. Great taste, with only a slightly lighter mouth feel. Beautiful Cascade during the pour..., which takes @3-4 minutes to let it fill, settle, and refill. I don't drink this one all of the time and was wondering if we didn't drain the keg quickly, would it taint the flavor over too much time, but I didn't need to worry. Its still a great beer and I will be doing this one again, and again.

Brewed this as directed. Awesome. My wife and I kegged it and we both agree we like it more than Guinness. Buy this one with confidence. It's great.
