Dos Equis Special Lager (1C) - ALL GRAIN Homebrew Ingredient Kit

I'm having a short glass from the keezer tap, having brewed this beer 5+ weeks ago. It's been conditioning in the keg for a week or so at 38 degrees. It does really well with a lime or lemon wedge, or a spot of lime or lemon juice. I will say the corn flavor is a bit pervasive, though, and my assessment is consistent with another review. So, super tasty if done right, but you might want to throttle the flaked maize a little bit!

I was pleasntly surprised with the taste, color and presentation. Spot on! A slice of lime is nice but not needed. Whirlfloc or Irish moss may have helped with clarity but was still a very good beer. I'll be doing this one again! Keep up the good work AHS!

All grain, followed the recipe, and I lagered for 2 months. This is a good beer if you like corn tortillas. I like tortillas so I don't mine the corn taste. If I decide to brew this one again I will use 1 lb instead of 2 lbs of flaked maize.

First lager and it was a huge hit. Will do again.
