Having tried a Budvar in London a few months back, I thought I would try my hand a the AG verison of this. I fermented this at lager temperatures in my beer freezer for about 3 months. The beer came out clear and crisp. After about 2 weeks in the keg I was not sure about it. But the longer it is in the keg, the better it seems to taste. My version doesn't taste like what I remember Budvar tasting like, but it is still a good lager.

AG kit was excellent all of the pieces and parts were included, the instructions are adequate. Brewed 07/15/12 using the BIAB method, let sit 24 hrs. using the No Chill method before pitching east (WLP802). Used a 2L starter, fermentation activity began within 8 hrs., I used a blow-off tube. Fermented at 50 degrees for 10-days and let sit in the primary until 08/18/12 when I kegged the beer and force carbed at 30 psi for 3 days. Tapped 08/21/12, great flavor and taste - loved the hop taste. Beer had a great head retention, flavor improved after another week. My SG and FG were a touch off (SG 1.047 and FG 1.010, ABV 4.8%). Good session beer crisp, nice hop taste. Drink while cold brought to a picnic (in a keglove with ice wrap) ad the bit that was left over was skunked after about 4-hrs. in the DC heat. My loss. Will brew again in the summer.
