A great recipe - very similar to tap Boddington's which can be hard to find - much better than the canned 4 pack you can buy that's very expensive - this was my first attempt at a homebrew and turned out great - highly recommended.

I keep trying other ales, but I keep coming back to this one. Only thing I can't match is the creamy head that you get from draft Boddington's or from the can. Other than that this has to be my favorite.

Being able to get a "Boddy" at home was why I got into brewing in the first place!! This was one of the first brews I did and my temperature control wasn't very good at all. I was easily +-5, or 10 degrees off the target temp, during the soak. Even though I was bad at that part, it still turned out great!!! I've done 2 kits now and see another one in my future as soon as the keg gets down to half. On the Nitrogen tap and that makes it that much better. Velvety head and beautiful color. I thought it would be a bit cloudier, but its clean and clear. Great Kit!!!

I brewed an all grain batch, brew in a bag with sparge. Beer is a beautiful color and tastes very similar to the real thing but lacked the creamyness that nitrogen carbonation gives you. This was by far the most popular beer I have brewed to date and it is my new house beer.

I never bother to leave reviews but I have to for this. AMAZING. this is so similar to the cans you buy at the store. I went all grain and I use the brew in a bag method. 1 week primary, 1 week secondary. Kegged on nitrogen. I didn't add the maltodextrin but went with .25 lbs carapils. I simply could not be happier with this and it will be brewed again for sure. Great clarity, easy to drink, probably the best beer I have made and I have made about 35 batches.
