Blind Pig IPA (14B) - EXTRACT Homebrew Ingredient Kit

Have been brewing the Blind Pig IPA (extract) kit from Austin Homebrew since May 2015. Absolutely my favorite clone and canít wait to visit Russian River Brewing someday to compare the original to the kit. I use White Labs California Ale yeastÖitís been a constantly high performer. The kit includes French oak chips for primary and secondary dry hopping. I brewed once without the chips and have always used them since; you can taste the difference and the oak gives it a very nice finish. Final SG with temp conversion has generally been 1.010; ABV at 5.9-6.0. I keg it and leave for 30 days prior to first tasting. Creamy top out of the keg; smooth beer! The Austin Home Brew folks are first class; kits usually arrive in a few days and they provide a good range of options during the ordering process.

Delicious beer with a smooth tasty finish. I'll brew it again.
