Classic Review
Fantastic beer! I've brewed anything from a Baltic Porter to a couple of Imperial IPA's to an ESB to a Lawnmower Lagers. This beer is by far the best beer I've had. Wasn't really a big fan of the belgian style tho I like Duvel. I used about 1/4 of the spices that came with the kit. Never have had a beer ferment like this one did. Massive krauzen that looked like pudding! Cold-crashed in the 2ndary for about 4 days to settle down the remaining yeast. Plenty of sediment left in the bottles like there's supposed to be. It's aged about 6 weeks now and I've enjoyed sampling a bottle a week to see how the flavors are blending. Now, it's a rich honey color, smooth with a back bite of carbonation on the tongue. There's just a hint of the refreshing bitter orange taste and the (high) alcohol content is well hidden. Will definitely make this again.
