AG Kit was excellent, all of the right pieces and parts - instructions are adequate. Brewed this up on 08/15/12 (BIAB) and let sit for 12 hrs. in the pot with lid on until I transferred and pitched the yeast starter (2L) on 09/16/12. I left it in the primary until 09/18/12 (in refrigerator at about 45 degrees) - used Wyeast 2308; modest fermentation activity (using a blow-off tube). Kegged on 09/18/12 - force carbbed at 30 psi for 3 days - Tapped on 10/12/12 for an Oktoberfest party. Light golden color (hazy gold) a real crowd pleaser, easy to drinkand quite good, but man is this strong (OG - 1.077 and FG 1.019 - ABV of 7.6%). I thought the beer was a bit too strong (I did not use the alcohol boost option). I believe the next Ayinger Clone I woudl want to brew is their Ur-Weisse (dark wheat) beer.
