This is one fantastic golden Belgium ale. It is the best beer I have ever made and I have made a lot of them. I liked it so much that I made the same recipe again on my own, but used the New Chech Saaz hops that Austin Homebrew now has for sale. It turned out great too. Try it you will like it. Brewster J

I did the mini-mash and have to agree with Gregg E on this one. Leffe blond is my favorite beer and this clone does not taste like Leffe @ all. Don't get me wrong, this was a drinkable beer and it got considerably better with age but a Leffe it's not.

I wanted to do a follow up on my last comment. I've drank more of the Leffe clone, after more extended conditioning, and a lot of the bite is disappearing. The beer is developing more body; still not Leffe, but it does get better w/ age. I would recommend letting it condition for an extended period of time. I'm actually enjoying it now.

Made the mini-mash, and it didn't work out so well. It didn't taste like Leffe, and wasn't true to the style IMO. It is a good beer, but wasn't what I was looking for.
