Turned out to be a solid recipe. I dry-hopped it with two ounces of Willamette I had laying around, and it added a great twist to an already good recipe.

Very good kit... good amount of bittering that would serve well as a backbone kit for some experimental dry hopping.

I used the mini-mash kit and was pleasantly surprised by this beer. Crisp and easy drinking. My friend really liked it as well. I left him a six pack and a month later he said "this beer is great, every time I drink it I always like it." Overall a good beer, I would recommend trying this.

An excellent, easy, and quick brew at a good price. I used the mini-mash and fermented at a temperature around 65 degrees using Nottingham ale yeast, which started within 6-8 hours and fermented steadily and quickly. I rushed this to keg in about 2 weeks, and it already tasted quite good, now at 4 weeks it is probably even better. I really like the bitterness from the Warrior hops - so clean and crisp - and would like to try different aroma or dry hops options. I'll be making this again in the near future!

I thought this would be a ho-hum summer session beer, but it's turned out to be one of my favorites, and my friends seem to agree.

An Excellant Pale Ale! Great balanced hopped taste and very very smooth. Natural carbonation was very good after 10 days in the bottle...gave it 10 days in the secondary fermenter as well. Strongly recommend this brew...you will not be disappointed!!!!

Great Pale Ale. Brewed it with the alcohol boost to put it over the top. Took about 3 weeks to condition and it was good to go. Didn't last a week between me and my wife. Definately going to make this recipe again. This time I'll try kegging it instead.

I reccomend this recipe, but it took about five weeks in the bottle before the flavors balanced. Part of the problem was that I used DME instead of liquid, and then did a late DME addition so that I could achieve a light color. The late-extract addition must have signinifcantly increaed my hop utilization, which combined with the high-alpha Warrior hops produced an extremely bitter beer at bottling. But happily, what began as a beer with an almost crushed-aspirin-like bitterness has mellowed into a crisp, clean pale ale with a nice grapefruit-like bite. If you do a late extract addition with this one, be sure to adjust the quantiy of bittering hops down to correct for the higher utilization you will acheive. This one is a hit among my friends - well done AHS.
