Made this one just in time for Christmas. 2 weeks in primary, 2 weeks in secondary and then tested after only a week of bottle conditioning and it was great! Served it up to some family members at Christmas Eve and they also gave it a thumbs up!

This is a one up on all the other Texas Bock beers I have tried. Shiner has nothing on this kit. One of the easiest kits to make as well.

Best of the Bocks
I have purchased a number of clone recipe kits in the past from various vendors. Most often, never buying the kit or brewing the recipe again again. Definitely will buy and brew this one again and again. Thanks AHS!

This was our first brew ever and can't believe how easy it was. It came out exactly like we expected and tasted great. It was pretty good after 3 weeks conditioning but it was at it's best at about 5 weeks (yes, it lasted 2 weeks because there's only two of us!!). On a whim, added the 1% boost and it doesn't take many to get to a really happy place.

Made the mini-mash in early March, bottled and was ready on May 1st- initial taste was good and had several people who rarely drink beer comment on how good it was. Had the same family/friends by June 11th and everyone thought it tasted even better. Overall I enjoyed this beer; easy drinking with simple instructions. I would brew again....

Huge fan of Shiner, so my now wife brewed this recipe while I was overseas and I came home to one hell of a beer. Fermented warm like an ale and it turned out great. Only difference is I would brew again without the yeast fuel as it gives it a slight alcohol taste. Great cold beer.

The FG was 1.010 using the all-grain kit. It has a high foam from the keg - 90% of the pour. The taste began thin and watery after two weeks of conditioning, then improved with time. I served this beer at our family Christmas party to a complimentary crowd. I'd recommend it.

Smooth drinking bock that was as good as the real deal after bottle conditioning for six full weeks. Great price. I'll brew this one again.

This was my very first homebrew kit. The instructions were easy to follow (did the LME version). I have to admit, I was impatient and kegged the beer and tried to drink it too early (was cloudy, bitter and simply tasted bad). However, after I let it age for another 3 weeks, my friends and I couldn't stop drinking it! I learned my beginner's lesson and will here out age my beer properly and ensure I am patient, as this recipe ended up GREAT - I will definitely brew it again!
