Great, Great Beer!
This is the best beer I've made so far! I really love it! Smooth with a nutty and slightly creamy taste. Light enough for hot days, but still has a good body. Left in primary for 3 weeks and straight to bottle. Suppose I could have racked it for a bit more clarity, but not that concerned. 3 weeks in the bottle and it is so ready to drink. I'll do this again for sure!

just moved this to the secondary after 6 days in primary, tasted my specific gravity sample, good, young and green, but should be a good brown ale. I can really taste the malt profile on this one...eagarly awaiting end result, propably just a week in secondary to clear a bit, then bottle it up....will post end results

Made this with the alcohol boost kit. This makes a great high gravity ale. I've tried the booster with other beer kits and the results were unpleasant. If your looking to make a beer with some kick that still tastes good then try the stormcastle.

had one of these from the back of the lager locker last night, getting more mellow with age, I still have a case in the cellar, may wait a month and break them out. Nice earthy flavor, rich malt, very good beer for $25 and some change, used dry yeast as I do with most ales, nice beer.....

Initially, my batch turned out undercarbonated (surely my fault), so I stopped drinking them and left the majority of the batch in the cellar. After about six months now of sitting, they seem to be carbonated enough and still offer plenty of flavor. I like that it's a roasty brown and not a sweet brown. I'd recommend it.
