AHS Rye IPA (14B) - EXTRACT Homebrew Ingredient Kit

All Grain - My system was giving me issues when I was brewing this batch, but despite my worst efforts, this beer still came out fantastic. My roommates even hail it as the best batch my house has brewed (probably the 15th one made). That's saying something. If you want to start making your own RyePA, start with this one first!

Brewed the extract version of this beer and it was outstanding. A nice crisp beer with a ton of citrus flavor. Everyone who tried this beer was very impressed. Well done.

Brewed as a mini-mash. A nicely hopped IPA with a crisp, dry rye finish. Nine days in primary and 25 in secondary. A favorite that will be brewed regularly!

Awesome kit. In my regular rotation for sure. Brewed this guy for a going away party and kegged into 3L minikegs. Came out perfect. Beautiful beer with great hop aroma and Rye spice.

I brewed this one also as a mini-mash: total of 5 lbs grain & the rest as LME. I love IPA's as much as the next guy and have to say that this kit produced an extremely good beer. I made it quickly using a yeast starter with 6 days in primary and 11 days in secondary to dry hop it, then bottle-conditioned for 2 weeks. The final product was an extremely hoppy and crisp IPA with an excellent yellow/orange color and just a hint of rye spice to it. Perfectly balanced.
