just finished off the keg of the All Grain version of this recipe. It definitely gives a new twist on an old favorite. For an IPA it is definitely balanced, maybe even a bit malty though the hop kick is still there. I dryhopped with Cascade in the primary after fermentation had finished and with Centennial in the keg, both of which obviously contributed great aroma. The keg definitely went fast...Go for it... its a good one.

My all grain batch was fermented in a primary for 3 weeks then into a keg at room temp for 1 week then 1 week in the kegerator. While it still needs another week or so, this is a pretty enjoyable beer. I like very hoppy beers but wanted to try something a little less hoppy. This doesn't disappoint me. I'm hoping another week will bring the balance between the malt and hops to perfection. I've always been a fan of Cascade and also use Columbus often and those shine through. I red another comment about adding some Centennial for dry hop as well and may try that when I brew this again.

A wonderful brew, tried to save the batch for a local fest down here in NOLA, but once I opened the first to try it... well, my friends and I finished it pretty soon after... a million stars...

Ordered the partial mash kit. Added an extra ounce of Cascade (1/2 oz at flame out and 1/2 oz dry) and ended up with an excellent brew. Tasty after 1 week, and even better at 3 weeks. Don't think it'll be around very long.
