Excellent brown ale, exceed New castle in every way. I supplemented by add a bit of smoked malt. Gave a nice smoky profile. Good "dark" beer that even light beer drinkers are surprised to like.

Probably the best beer I tasted out of the primary. I brewed with an WLabs Irish Yeast for 2 days then pitched the W.Labs English yeast. So it's a hybrid yeast. The English yeast need 70 hours of a starter to show signs of life (delivered during a heat wave). I will bottle today, and drink in Lake George, NY after 5 weeks from the brew date. I will be back.......

Excellent Brown Ale. Pitched with dry yeast, left in primary and secondary longer than I usually do, and did the same with the bottles. As I sampled each week during carbonation, this ale simply improved in taste, texture and body. Probably my favorite homebrew to date. Getting set to make it in All Grain to compare/contrast!

AG version so much better than the extract (IMHO). While the extract was great, the difference in color, mouthfeel and taste were dramatic. Of course, i could be improving as a brewer, which may be part of the reason for the difference. Why did I wait so long to do AG?
