The hops are really the star of this recipe! The hop flavor come out strongly, but doesn't overpower the flavor. There seems to a citrus quality to the flavor. If you didn't know what you were drinking you probably assume it was an IPA. You would be wrong, of course, because this is a lager not an ale, so maybe you could name it an IPL. I really like the flavor of this! I am glad I made 4 batches of it.

What a great summertime cooler. Came in at 5.8%, so not a lightweight. A great kiss of hops. Great quencher. Served with steamed crabs, a marriage made in hop heaven.

Great beer, added some hop dust to cap it off. I bottle it so I have many friends asking for more. Only brewed it becauce Sam Adams Noble Pils is a seasonal beer and that started my brewing career.

Very tasty brew. I brewed it as an ale using Nottingham as I don't have lagering equipment. It was very good and very hoppy, but not overpowering or too bitter. It has just enough malt to balance it. This it the best beer I've brewed to date.

One amazing beer! I nice flavor of hops with the refreshing taste of a pilsner, it's one of my favorites. I brewed two batches, kegged one and bottled one. I killed the keg before the bottles are fully conditioned!
