This medium brown colored, malty lager is a Bavarian favorite. It is similar in style to Spaten Dark.

Classic Review

I am predominately an ale brewer, but every year for my Oktoberfest party, I brew an Oktoberfest, and this Dunkel. The Dunkel has become so popular that I brew it about 3 times a year because of the demand. I have tried both the White Labs and Wyeast Yeast Strains, and this beer turns out great each time. If you are wanting to begin brewing a couple of Lagers, this is a great place to start.
