Very balanced beer. It has a nice hop flavor just right for a Pale Ale. Nice after taste as well. My wife and I enjoyed it so much I ordered two more kits at a great sale price!

A very nice pale ale, not at all heavy and nice for the warming months. This was my first time using Sorachi Ace hops. I have heard that they depart a nice lemony flavor but this recipe has them being added at 60 mins so not much of their flavor came through. I would like to try this recipe again but add the sorachi ace at the middle or end of the boil, they smell wonderful!

I just tapped the keg on my batch of this and it was so good I had to review immediately. This is a fantastic Pale Ale, the best I have ever made. The aroma and flavor of hops are excellent. I love it!

Not sure what's new and improved about the current recipe, but I ordered this months ago when it was a promo. Fermented with Wyeast Pacman yeast at mid-70s temps and it came out very nice, almost lager-like. Love how the flavor came out in this: smooth, every so slightly malted with subdued but present hop bitterness. Very balanced and a great summer drink.

Sorachi Ace is a very interesting addition to this Pale... I enjoyed it. Definitely not "aggressively" hopped as advertised though. Agree with previous poster - nicely balanced, but if I order it again I would dry hop as well. Feremented out with little to zero "yeastiness" when using the Notty dry yeast.
