This was my first homebrew. I was very impatient to start indulging and i started when the beer still had a green flavor to it. It was sooo good then that i never stopped drinking it. After it evened out it was even better! I will definitely get this again!

Brewed this all grain, brew in bag method, 1 week primary, 2 week secondary, 2 weeks in bottle. The first bottles are already great. My first keeper recipe!

Came out a bit too hoppy for the style for me, but otherwise a good beer.

a superb recipe. Everyone (and i believe that word is way overused... but... ) loved this brew. The 5G lasted about a month and became a favorite of those who had it. I must do this one again!

This was my first Irish Red to brew. Needless to say I was blown away. It tasted great and I was also impressed with the clarity, color and head of the beer. Everyone I gave a bottle to loved it. I have already ordered another recipe of it. Cheers!

...my first batch after 12 years of not brewing (shame on me). They ain't kiddin'---let it sit for three months minimum. I can't wait to give this to my friend from Cork, Ireland; it's going to break his shillelagh in two.

I normally don't make comments on beers unless it is absolutely awful (not my fault from brewing) or phenomenal. This review is about the latter. I did the mini-mash version, and this was my first mini-mash kit. I let it sit in primary for 5 weeks, then racked into a keg. This beer is outrageous. A little bitter at the first sip, then sweetens and then the taste of goodness. Well balanced. Other reviews indicate aging only gets better. I can't wait, but then again, this is kegged and may not last that long. Will have to hide from friends and family. I believe I will have a keg devoted to this beer.

This will be brewed frequently. I cracked the first one open after 45 days and was very happy. I waited another 45 days and was ecstatic about how this beer turned out. Great beer just be patient.

I brewed the extract kit in July. Easily the most preferred of all the beers I have brewed (Coffee Stout, IIPA, and Belgium Wit).
