Great beer. We've made it a couple of times partial-mash, and I am making the AG version this week. Dryhopped with a couple of ounces of nugget and it makes for a great India Brown Ale. Highly recommended.

This just made it into my short list of all-time favo[u]rite AHS kits out of the dozens that I have brewed so far. It brings just the right amount of the best of everything. It has a fantastic malty base, but that is held in balance by the more pronounced bittering. What's really neat is that as the beer matures and the hops fade, the slightest hint of yeast character (plain, reliable Nottingham in my case) is showing up to keep things interesting. No single characteristic is particularly remarkable, but as a whole it is a fantastic beer.

IDK about any real hops in this beer. It's a full bodied brown that is a crowd pleaser even after 4 wks after brew date. I dry hopped it with 1/2 of some sort of weak hop 4.5% maybe, to know avail. I think it will improve with age. Served from a keg. It's actually the most full-bodied brown I have tasted. I was worried it being too much, but everybody continued drinking it to great affect!

This is a good brown ale. Following the directions will not satisfy the hopheads though. I would suggest getting some additional hops to add either during and/or for the secondary.
