Excellent ESB
Echo of other reviews, an excellent ESB. All grain kit and legged after three weeks in primary you have a perfect ESB. Malty, but not cloying, hop bitterness present and balancing. Have ordered twice already, and will continue brewing this beer.

I just finished my keg of ESB and I miss it more than any AHS recipe I've made. I think I'll back off maybe 1/4-1/3 on the hops but this will definitely be my first 10 g. batch, its that good.

This one went fast also. A very good bitter that I'm sure would've been better with a little more aging.

This was my first kit from AHS and it turned out great. Had compliments that this was a great example of an ESB and competes with stuff you get in the store. This is one of the favorites I've brewed and would brew again. It's got a nice, firm hop bitterness to it and turned out clean and clear.

A very good beer. It took a while to really get the flavor going, and was very astringent at first. Once the two month mark hit, though, it's been fantastic.

Did this one and kegged it. It went down great. A buddy & I did a double batch of this and then split it. We fermented at the same temps (same room). The only diff was I did a starter. They both were great, but there was a slight difference.

Fantastic beer! Smooth going down but with a nice hop bite, just enough. I prefer it to the popular Seattle-based beer company version (something I never imagined saying). This one, I was defientely sad to see the last bottle go. This beer peaked for me around 2 months in the bottle; it's worth your patience.

This is a fine stock ESB. I would call this the textbook definition of Extra Special Bitter.

Good beer! I brewed from the LME kit with dry yeast and gave it about a week in the brite tank with Knox gelatin after it finished in the primary. It came out extremely clear except for a bit of chill haze. The flavor after three weeks in the bottle is very crisp and clean. It strikes a nice balance with the heavier, "bigger" brews I had been doing over the last couple of months.
