Delicious! I can't wait to brew again. Opened the 1st bottle after 2 1/2 weeks and it was already good. This blonde is rich with a good hop backbone.

I brewed this with the intention of trying to mimic Pete's Wicked Strawberry Blonde, and I added AHS's strawberry flavoring. I thought this hit it dead on. Most of my friends who have tried both now prefer this kit to Pete's. It turned out very clear in color and the strawberry taste wasn't too much at all - its getting better with age. I had this in primary for about 8 or 9 days, added strawberry kit at bottling, and let age in bottle for about 2 weeks - tastes GREAT! Will brew again...

Excellent Ale, I used the all grain kit and came out with a little low OG but after fermenting with Wyeast 1332 it turned out really nicely, word got around fast and it was gone before I knew it. Crowd pleaser even with the miller budwiser crowd, nothing but compliments, on hop and malt flavors. I was looking for a nice summer beer and found a great one.

Extract with alc boost added at 30 min mark and dry yeast. 9 in primary no secondary used. Finished up at 5.3%. Nice light beer for those that do not appreciated a craft beer. I split the batch up and bottled 1/2 of it as is and the other 1/2 added about 1oz of the strawberry extract AHS sells. Both beers were nice and ready to drink about 30 days after brewing. However, best served after about a month in the bottle. For the price and results you can not go wrong. Also a nice beer to experiment with other fruits.

Brewed AG/WLP001 yeast/4 week ferment - Split into 2 -2.5 gal batches: one batch bottled with 1 oz apricot flavoring and the other batch kegged. After two weeks, the keg didn't have much taste; apricot had a bite. With these scenarios, you have to let it sit. After one month of the beer conditioning in the keg, it is quite delicious. Light color, very slight hint of malt. First sip is balanced, and then leaving a slight lingering of hops; I wish I converted the entire batch to apricot flavoring. Not a complex recipe by any means; simple, go-to beer. Let this one sit about 3-4 weeks after you rack it. Maybe 4-5 weeks with artificial flavoring. Oh....will be ordering again.

WOW! This is absolutely a beer I will continue to brew. The fermentation process didn't start until about 48 hours, and after I took the top off the primary and stirred the wort again. I split this batch into a Vanilla Blonde and a Jalapeno Blonde that my friends and I called a Hot Blonde, after a comment below about this brew. At the bottling stage I siphoned off half the beer into the bottling bucket and mixed it with 3/4 of the vanilla extract bag from AHB. After I mixed the beer and vanilla extract I let it sit while I placed 3 jalapeno peppers cut in half the long way into a grain bag and placed that into the secondary fermenter for the other half of the beer. I bottled the Vanilla Blonde and then transferred the Hot Blonde into the bottling bucket. I let the jalapenos sit for another 5 minutes while I sanitized the remaining bottles for bottling and then began bottling while the Jalapenos remained in the bottling bucket. In the end (at tasting time) the Vanilla Blonde had a VERY slight hint of vanilla to it; the Hot Blonde was AWESOME! It was not burn your mouth hot, but the beer was extremely tasty, refreshing, and left a perfect after taste of jalapeno. The Hot Blonde has been the favorite brew according to my friends and father who started brewing nearly 20 years ago.

Did this for a easy summer beer. Cut the hops in 1/2 . Only did this because I am old and did not get into the resurgence of hoppy beers. The biggest problem is it goes down way to easy on a hot day and my friends know I have it on tap. Great and easy beer to make. Had it kegged and under pressure in a frig for about a month before I started drinking it. Not going to last 2 week, (hot summer). Very nice beer for picnic and bbq. Keep brewing.
