Great Lager
This was my first AHS kit and my first lager/mini mash as well. This is the best kit I've made from a technical standpoint. It honestly tastes like the commercial light lagers, really impressive. It's my opinion that lagering the beer in combination with being a mini mash produced a much better beer than all extract kits I've tried. It is a simple tasting beer, crisp, and clean. I do prefer other hops, but I recommend. Currently I have AHS Run to the pills lager in the fermentor. Eager to taste it.

This is my favorite all round brew. Smooth and easy drinking. Beats the hell out of any commercial beer of the same style.

After about 8 or more batches for many different styles of beer, I was in the mood for "just beer". This ironically was one of my favorites. Very crisp and refreshing. Although I was thinking if would be kind of boring it really isn't. It is a very nice break going back to just plain American beer. I believe most will agree.

Great clean, crisp flavor. Far exceeded my expectations. I'll be ordering another very soon. Remember that this is a lager and you need cool temperatures to ferment though. My attached garage in the winter time was perfect.

This will be a regular for me though it takes about 10 weeks from brew to bottle. More than worth it. Crisp, clear and refreshing. A true crowd pleaser.
