Great Start, Worth Brewing
Had the opportunity to brew this Hefe on my Grainfather and it turned out well. I made the mistake of forgetting to add my flaked wheat to the mash but the beer still held a very nice haze. Fermented with Imperial Yeast's G01 Strefon strain at 65F for a week before ramping to 73F for the remainder of fermentation and the beer finished with a nice balance of clove and banana. The beer eventually cleared up towards the last gallon or less in the keg but was overall a delicious beer that ended up at 4.6% abv.
