Fuller's ESB Spot On

I drive the 150 miles to Austin to just to look around and picked up the ESB kit customized with help from the local staff. I told them the taste I was looking for from the one-on-one interview of my needs. I followed the instructions to the letter and after two weeks in the bottle, I had to try. I spent 16 years in England and I would have to say it was as close as you could get. I picked two six packs of bottled ESB at Specs and have to say the savings of making your own is worth it as you control what your taste buds need. The only negative comment I have is they are currently out of stock.

Fuller's ESB not near

I did this AG batch last month and the beer came very light in taste and in color with lots of sediment and particles floating in the bottles. It's not even near a Fuller's ESB should be.

Brewed this for a friends anniversary party and they loved it! One of the best beers I have ever had. Didn't even know I liked ESBs.

This is batch #30 and I did a mini mash. It\'s been botteled for 6 weeks and people are loving it (a little too much). I will certainly be in my rotation. I have not had that many ESB\'s but this has turned me onto the style! I\'m Lovin\' it.

I brewed this kit as a mini-mash twice now, with the London ESB yeast. Turned out great both times. Not quite the same as a real Fuller's, but the finish is just as smooth. And the hoppiness from the double infusion is perfect IMO.
