Fruity

So I thought this would taste more like the Alaskan Amber I bought at the store. It did not, but it was very good. Very fruity. Also I only used only one yeast and now they rec two. So either I messed it up ans it was still good or the taste is off

Recipe is easy to follow. Just don't forget to put your Extract in some hot water before you add it.

Best beer on the planet. I enjoyed this beer on several trips in Alaska. Rest assured, the end product of this recipe is far superior to the stuff one gets straight out of the Juneau, Alaska brewery because it is not Pasteurized. Pasteurization kills the flavor of any beer. My final was 5.8% alc. before bottle conditioning. Probably may add another 0.1% after it sits in closet for a month or so. The minimal conditioning time is 3 weeks; I popped a cap after 2 weeks and it was stunning excellent. Today I order 3 kits to have ready when I host my semi-annual old college buddies guns, beer and Bar-B-Q Shoot-Out here at the ranch. I seriously doubt 6 cases of this excellent brew will survive that weekend. If some does survive I am certain it will be stolen by my dirtball college buddies. Maybe there should be car search-and seize at the cattle guard as they exit the ranch.

After visiting Alaska and drinking Alaskan amber all week, I just had to make some since you can't buy it in Ohio. The beer from this kit turned out great. One of our friends went to Seattle and brought some Alaskan Amber back for me so I had my wife do a blind taste test and she couldn't tell the difference.
