Lactose, vanilla, and orange peel give this cream ale a lot of body and a lot of flavor. It starts with the taste of an orange creamsicle, and ends like a cream ale.

Great brew for the summer!

So I brewed this beer. honestly not expecting much. I ued the WLP080 Cream Ale yeast with a 1.5L starter. Not sure what happened on brew day but I ended up with a 96% brewhouse efficiency this day. As a result the OG was 1.068 and FG was 1.017 with an ABV of 6.7%. Not complaining, just was not expected. This beer is CHOCK full of flavor and is not going to last long. Kind of one of those dirty little secrets you don't like to admit you enjoy. One of the best beers I have made in some time, simply delicious. Lactose really adds to the creamy mouthfeel. If you want a great Summer beer that most will enjoy you cant go wrong with this cream ale. Recommended.
