Fruit meads, or melomels, have been gaining in popularity in recent years. There are so many possibilities open to a mead-maker. Our line of melomels uses Oregon Fruit/Vintners Harvest fruit wine bases for the fruit flavor.

Misleading

The instruction sheets that came with this mead kit were terribly wrong, resulting in AHS having to send me more yeast and another can of puree. You're better off following the directions off of the back of the additives pouch. I'm sure the mead will turn out ok, but the O.G. still wasn't where it was supposed to be even after adding the additional puree.
