Sparkolloid is a fining agent used for clarification. It will neutralize the repelling charge of particles in liquid, allowing the particles to aggregate and fall out of solution. It will not affect color.

Usage: After fermentation add 1 teaspoon per gallon of wine following these instructions. Measure out the amount of sparkolloid needed. Add the sparkolloid to 2 cups of boiling distilled water. Stir frequently while maintaining the temperature a bit below boiling. It will take about 15 minutes to get the powder in suspension; the liquid will look smooth and creamy. Stir this hot mixture into the wine to be clarified. Let the wine settle 1-2 weeks. Rack.
