Washington State is a classic cool-climate viticultural area. With the Cascade Mountains providing a complete rain shadow for the vines, the resulting arid climate combined with the long daylight hours of the growing season, ensures that grapes ripen fully. Fully ripened, these grapes develop complex fruit flavors, good acid levels and pleasing aromatics. This Washington Pinot Gris offers fresh aromas and flavors of ripe honeydew melon and crisp green apple with an attractive floral note. The wine has an elegant, creamy finish restrained by a refreshing crispness that makes it very food friendly.

The 16 liters of regional varietal juice makes 6 gallons, providing approximately 30 bottles of wine. Extended aging in bottles will greatly enhance flavor.
