Beer Bottle Labels
Click here for our complimentary beer bottle labels. This label was designed to be printed on a sheet of six 4" x 3 1/3" self adhesive labels. Specifically Avery shipping labels: 5164, 5264, 5524, 8164, 8254, 8464, 48464, 55164, 5816.

Extract kit includes: priming sugar, milled specialty grains in a muslin bag, hops, and detailed instructions. Mini-Mash kits do not come with grain bags. We recommend a Reusable Nylon Grain Bag. Mini-mash involves additional time for steeping. All grain brewing requires additional equipment and different brewing techniques.

Fermentable Sugars:
Extract - Liquid: 10 lb Liquid Malt Extract, .5 lb Base Grains, 1.5 lb Specialty Grains.
Extract - Dry: 8 lb Dry Malt Extract, .5 lb Base Grains, 1.5 lb Specialty Grains.
Mini Mash - Liquid: 7 lb Liquid Malt Extract, 1 lb Dry Malt Extract, 2 lb Base Grains, 1.5 lb Specialty Grains.
Mini Mash - Dry: 6 lb Dry Malt Extract, 2.75 lb Base Grains, 1.5 lb Specialty Grains.
All Grain: 13 lb Base Grains, 1.5 lb Specialty Grains.

Makes 5 US gallons.

Kit Option:
Choose Extract for the most common method of home brewing. Mini-mash replaces some extract with base grains, needs additional steeping time, and requires a grain bag (not included, but available in our online catalog). All grain brewing requires additional equipment to convert the grains to fermentable sugars as well as different brewing techniques explained in most homebrewing books.

Yeast Option:
We recommend the following White Labs, Wyeast, or dry yeast for this recipe. Choose none if you already have yeast, or if want to order a different yeast. If we are temporarily out of stock of the yeast selected for this recipe, we will substitute a very similar strain so that your order will not be delayed.

Yeast Double Pitching Option:
We recommend double pitching (doubling the amount of yeast) for beers with a starting gravity over 1.060. The increase in cell count will help the beer finish at final gravity and make stuck fermentations less likely. It will also decrease the lag time between pitching and the start of fermentation, and eliminate the need for a starter, both reducing contamination chances. This option allows you to add another yeast for double pitching.

BrewVint Yeast Fuel:
A proprietary blend of yeast nutrients that provides food for the yeast for a more vigorous and faster fermentation.

Cold Pack:
Helps keep the yeast cool for shipping.

Priming Sugar:
Required for producing carbonation in bottles. Not required if kegging. Enough for 5-6 gallons.

1% Alcohol Boost:
Add 1% alcohol to your beer without compromising its flavor. Brewvint Alcohol Boost is 55% maltose/45% glucose, a very fermentable mix with little flavor contribution.

Beer Bottle Caps:
A package of 60 bottle caps. Fits on standard 12 and 22 oz beer bottles.
