Turn any upright refrigerator into a kegerator with this refrigerator conversion kit. Deliver your beverage from inside the fridge to a shiny faucet outside the door and into your waiting glass. You can also add a handy drip or drain tray for added aesthetics and functionality.
The conversion kit includes:
- Chrome Faucet
- 4 1/8" Chrome Shank
- 1/4" Chrome Tailpiece
- Beer Nut
- Beer Washer
The only requirement is a 1" diameter hole drilled through the refrigerator door. Measure the thickness of the refrigerator. The maximum allowable thickness for this shank is 2 5/8". Take care in positioning the shank. Make sure that an opening freezer door will clear the faucet and handle.
Required, but not included with the kit is a faucet handle. Use the drop down menu to select a faucet handle to complete your conversion kit. The next two items--the faucet wrench and faucet brush--will be extremely helpful when assembling and disassembling the unit to clean it. Finally, consider the faucet plug. This handy little extra has the potential to make your beer dispensing cleaner and easier. It's just a simple plug that fits into the faucet to keep insects, mold, and other unwanted things out of the faucet when it is not in use.
