Comment by Ron D on Friday 21 December, 2012 This was an excellent class and definitely worth my $15. We covered a range of topics and it gave me a lot to think about, but there was time to get all of my questions answered. This class made me realize I needed a wort chiller and I was really glad I had that for my first batch. I've done 2 mini-mash recipes now and am happily drinking on the first one out of the keg. Yes I spent more than I intended getting into this hobby. But I'm doing it right and this class was one of the keys to helping me avoid some learning pains. One of the components of the class is a 10 min video. It is not a publicly shared video but there is a private youtube link they will email to you if you request. That was VERY helpful for me. It was well-done and I reviewed it again couple of times before both my first brewing attempt and my first racking attempt. I skipped bottling and went straight to the kegging instead. If you ware going to do that, there is also an excellent short kegging class that is offered from time to time. | | |
