This fermenter kit can make up to 27 gallons of red wine from destemed / crushed grapes. This unique product is sold in a unique way to minimize duplicate parts.

About the WineEasy System
This fermenting system is used to make red wine from destemmed / crushed grapes. The WineEasy is different than anything on the market, but it is incredibly easy to use.
At the heart of the system is a high quality stainless primary fermenter. This is where destemmed / crushed grapes are added.
After fermentation, a sliding piston is installed. A uniquely designed false bottom located at the bottom of the fermenter allows the pomace to be separated from the wine while draining the unit. A vacuum pump evacuates the carboy and also applies a vacuum under the false bottom of the fermentor. This causes atmospheric pressure to push down on the sliding piston pressing the pomace to the ideal maximum pressure of 14 PSI.
Since this is all done in a completely closed and air tight system and without transferring the pomace to a press, oxidation and contamination are virtually eliminated. Additionaly, cleanup is as easy as scooping out the dry pomace and washing out the fermenter.
