    Good kit, but be careful

All around good mix of equipment and ingredients at a reasonable price; no issues with anything but the 1gal plastic bucket; it's VERY hard to get an airlock into that small grommet and the bucket lid has no silicone seal ring, which I believe is responsible for two flat fermentations; I'll primary in a stoppered jug from now on.

    So far, so good

While the instructions could be a little more detailed for first-timers, we were able to supplement our knowledge with some other websites. Everything in the kit looked great and it arrived quickly. After two weeks, our home-pressed cider was indeed at about 5%ABV...magic! It's in bottles and undergoing secondary fermentation now. The kit was very helpful to get us started on our first batch!
